Annual membership fees for existing members are:

• £50 for single member - this is for a single person over the age of 18

• £75 for family member - covers the member + one spouse + all children with that spouse who are under the age of 18

All other family members should have their own respective memberships. 

Membership Fee Changes over the years

The chart below shows how the membership fee has changed over the last 20+ years. The increases have been in line with the number of eligible members that the committee needs to cover and the ever increasing burial costs. As you can see there has been no increase in the membership fee for single members for a number of years now. However, as agreed in the 2018 AGM, family membership had risen for the first time in a number of years due to the increasing number of eligible members. However there has not be an increase in membership fees since.

Late Payers

We sincerely thank the vast majority of our members who pay their membership fee on time each year. This helps us deposit the money in fewer transactions and reduces overall administration effort. As you can see from the chart below there has been an decrease in members who are not paying their annual fee on time. Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to have a committee where the members are continuing to pay their fees on time.

Please note that anyone who fails to pay their membership within one month of the AGM will incur a fine of £10 for each month in arrears and risk having their membership terminated. So far we have not had to impose fines for the last few years.
